Description
Nothing like hanging out lakeside with a camp fire and watching a show like this. A very bright almost full moon above with an isolated thunderstorm cell all lit up with cloud to cloud lightning striking. View from Jackson Lake in Morgan County Colorado looking East. These storms went around us giving us a great side view and show as they went out in the NE direction right past our location. This is a three image in a row stack each exposure of 6 sec.
There is another composite version of this image with the moon exposed in. I have a few people tell me they wanted to see it with the moon exposed in. So I have done it both ways. Some will like this more than the other and others will like the moon exposed in. Funny how that works.
