When your walls do not have anything of interest, a focal point or good placement of wall art, you can find that your room looks drab and pretty boring. In order to make a room more exciting, comfortable and pleasing to the eyes, fine art photography wall art is a must.
Large panorama art can create a mood or cast a calmness or excitement to the room.
Large panoramic prints are very wide images that would look great covering the entire wall. Panorama prints are made from multiple images, typically 9 - 15 individual portrait shots, that are blended together to produce an incredibly detailed gigapixel print, which can amaze viewers for a long time at the details. Well worth the investment.
Panoramic prints work great on long walls. Fantastic art to put above a bed or couch. In the office waiting room, even in a board room or conference room. Pick out a few shades from wall art that you’d love to add into your home or office decor.
Take the dominant color, as well as a few additional colors that you would like to pull out as accents in the room. Next, look for the same colors in the items you would like to use to decorate your space. Repeating color from the art you have on the walls will increase its impact in the decor. Take the image above you could add an accent rug or some small pillows even and tables with lamps, pulling out some of the blues in the art on the wall. The room would really come together and look fantastic.
Placement of your art is very important, but also is the placement of your other furnishings around the art. In some cases you can add a bench or accent table to bring attention to a great landscape on the wall. Other options are the type of panoramic prints you decide to hang. You can get creative with the mat colors and framing options, but you can also go with a clean frame-less options like sharp acrylic prints, vibrant metal prints, decorative panoramic canvas prints or even prints on maple wood.
Decorating with large vertical panoramic prints they look great on very narrow walls.

Colorado has a lot of hay farms so this is a very common panorama view on the front range towards the snow-capped rocky mountains with colorful cottonwood trees and bales of hay ready to be picked up in the fields. Paint Mines Interpretive Park is located one mile south of the town of Calhan in northeast El Paso County. It is a unique blending of geological, archaeological, historical and ecological resources. At first we were a little disappointed thinking this would be like Garden of the Gods where you drive around the park. But once you get down into this place you will love it. There are three places to park. The first has a bathroom and about a 1.5 mile hike in. The second is an overlook that you can walk down into this magnificent place. That is the one I recommend. The third is another overlook.
It was a crazy day as we were shooting there was also fashion shoot going on that we had to photograph around. Then as we were heading back to the car there was a guy getting changed next to our vehicle that looked like a homeless man that was talking to us as we approached, all I could hear was something about about a beard. Made me a little nervous at first but then to find out he was dressing up to play Mosses for a video shoot and the photographer dropped him off to run down to use the bathroom. He had just cut his beard off and had to use a fake one. They were shooting video for a christian piece. Very nice people and really enjoyed talking to them.
A few facts about Paint Mines.
Dating back as far as fifty-five million years, it is believed to be the remnants of an ancient rain forest where large animals, such as the hippopotamus-like Coryphodon, once roamed.
Paint Mines is a little-advertised El Paso County Park, with only 750 acres and 4 miles of trail.
The Calhan Paint Mines is not only a park but it is also an outdoor geological lab.
Paint Mines is an erosion, like Bryce Canyon, only much smaller in size
